Tree Health and Risk Assessments

Tree Health and Risk Assessments

If you’ve opened this page, you probably have some concerns about the health of your trees and possibly your own safety. We specialize in helping trees become as healthy and as safe as they can be in an urban environment. Most tree and woody plant problems are actually secondary stress disorders. The most common source of plant stress we encounter is caused by soil, root and pruning damage. Soil compaction and a broken nutrient cycle are the two most prevalent causes of soil damage. Root damage often occurs from improper planting, improper mulching, lawn mowers, string trimmers, bed edging, construction, grade changes from landscaping, and trenching for utility, spouting and irrigation lines.  Additionally, topping a tree, large branch removal and excessive small branch removal are all harmful and stressful pruning practices. When large trees and people coexist, safety is a concern. Trees are the largest organisms on earth.  They are dynamic and resilient, but eventually all living things will fail. It’s our hope to save your trees. We can effectively mitigate most tree health and safety issues; however, occasionally our recommendation will be for removal. Since large tree removal is not a service we provide, when that does happen to be our recommendation, rest assured knowing that the tree is a true candidate for removal and little can be done to save it.  If you have any questions or would like to schedule a consultation, please call us today.

Health Assessments start at $25. Risk Assessments start at $300.
