Most tree and woody plant problems are actually secondary stress disorders. We focus on identifying and mitigating woody plant stress. The most  sources of plant stress we encounter are caused by soil & root damage and harmful pruning. Soil & root damage is usually caused by landscaping and construction. Landscaping damage can result from improper planting, improper mulching, lawn mowers, string trimmers, bed edging and irrigation. Soil & root damage from construction can be caused from vehicles, soil grade changes, driveways, sidewalks and patios; machine digging for foundations, utilities, down spouts and irrigation.  Forms of harmful pruning are topping, large branch removal (larger than 4″ dia) and excessive small branch removal. When large trees and people coexist their health is commonly compromised and safety can be a concern.  We can effectively mitigate most tree health and safety issues. however; when our recommendation is for removal and since that is not a service we provide, we hope that it helps you rest assured.  If you have any questions or would like to schedule a consultation, please call us today at (828) 280-4584.
